Police are looking for a driver who they say hit his ex-fiance with his vehicle then took off Tuesday night.
Gorham Police responded to 15 Maple Ridge Road around 8:15 Tuesday after officers say
Jeremy Whynot hit the victim, causing her to go airborne and landing on the ground. The victim
suffered minor injuries and was released from the hospital.
Police say Whynot was traveling in a 2004 Gray JeepGrand Cherokee with Maine
license plates 5273 TS. Anyone who thinks they saw Why not is urged to call police

12-Year-Old Made Up Story Of Attempted Abduction In Bath
BATH (WGME) -- Bath police say the report made by a 12-year-old boy of an attempted abduction was a hoax.
According to police, the boy admitted that he made up the story during an interview.
The boy originally reported he was approached by a man driving a minivan near the 500 block of Middle Street around 3 p.m. Wednesday. He claimed the driver of the van reached out and grabbed him and attempted to pull him in.
The boy has not been charged with a crime.
