ROCKLAND (WGME) -- Police in the midcoast say they broke up a meth-making operation bringing this year's total to nearly 20, which is a record in Maine.
Drug agents in hazmat suits surrounded a Subaru in Rockland Thursday morning. Inside, they say they found dangerous chemicals used to make meth.
Police pulled over the vehicle earlier in the week after they say the driver was driving erratically.
31-year-old Jonathan Davis was taken to the hospital for evaluation, and turned himself in to drug agents in Rockland who arrested him immediately.
