Justin Bieber was apparently catching up on some much-needed rest when the L.A. County Sheriff's Department came a-knockin' this morning.
A law enforcement source exclusively tell E! News that the 19-year-old and five or six houseguests were sound asleep whenauthorities showed up to search his Calabasas, Calif., home after a neighbor reported that Bieber had egged his house.
But once he woke up, the pop superstar more or less behaved himself, the source added.
"Justin was fine. It is little weird to get woken up by a team of detectives," the insider said.
"Justin had to be calmed down [by law enforcement]. He wasn't disrespectful, but he was wanting to know what was going on. He also seemed like he was trying to be tough in front of his friends."
Bieber was subsequently asked to sit down so that the detectives could explain what was going on. His security team went along with the program, the source added.
According to the source, a security guard and someone who appeared to be another Bieber staffer were in the garage when deputies arrived, but everyone else in the house—including Bieber pal Lil Za, who was arrested on suspicion of drug possession—was asleep.
The source also told E! that the substance that was initially identified as cocaine in the house, as Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said during a press conference earlier today, might actually have been MDMA, or "molly." Detectives may also have found Xanax in the house and narcotics investigators are looking into it, the source added.
We're told that those who conducted the raid did recover surveillance footage from the home, but the Lost Hills Sheriff's Station was not equipped to watch it and they will be sending it to another station to be viewed.
Whitmore said at the press conference that Bieber had not been "exonerated" as far as the egg-throwing allegations went, nor had he been arrested.

FWORCESTER, Massachusetts (WHDH) -- Two young children were found home alone with their mother's .I.Pirst of all Rdead body.
Jill Skemmer watched in horror as the young victim's body was pulled from the apartment Friday night.
"I saw all the cops everywhere and then I saw the hearse pull up and I saw the gurney right there and then I saw the body bag and that was it," said Skemmer.
Skemmer lives in the same building and began to notice something strange as the week went on.
"There was a lot of yelling with the kids. I could hear her 24/7. On Thursday, I was sitting here doing some work and I thought to myself, 'God, I haven't heard anything. I haven't heard her voice for a couple days,'" said Skemmer.
Police confirmed the woman, who hasn't been identified, died from a drug overdose.
Neighbors said inside the home were her two young children. Ryan Cicero is the one who found them Friday night.
"They said mommy's sleeping. We coached them to open the door. He couldn't reach so we told him to get the chair. He stood on the chair and still couldn't reach. Grabbed a few pillows and hopped up there and unlocked it. I'm speechless of the whole thing. It was awful," said Cicero.

Police Continue Hunt For Suspect In Deadly Biddeford Shooting

Police Continue Hunt For Suspect In Deadly Biddeford Shooting

BIDDEFORD (WGME) – 47-year-old Charles Raybine was found shot to death in a car early Tuesday morning, and his killer is still on the loose.

There are still more questions than answers in the shooting death of Charles Raybine. We don't know why he was in a rental car with Mass. plates, and state police are telling us there's no new information.

News 13 is learning new details about the man shot and killed in the parking lot of an apartment building near downtown Biddeford, a man who more than one police officer here in York County told me was a bad guy.

Charles Raybine had an extensive criminal past, a record that included aggravated assault, assault, theft, and several drug trafficking charges dating back to 2003. That's the same year he was shot four times and survived by a man who told police Raybine had come to his house to collect a debt.

Now, just hours after someone shot and killed Raybine in Biddeford, state and local police surrounded this home at 42 east grand in old orchard beach. We spoke with a next door neighbor who did not want to be identified. He told us three people who had only been living there a month surrendered at gunpoint.

We tried to find out what this was all about, and if the people arrested had anything to do with the murder in Biddeford. Old Orchard Beach Police referred us to the State Police, and State Police spokesman Steve McCausland told us he had no information about those arrests.

As far as the search for Charles Raybine's killer, McCausland says there are no new developments. And there is no description of possible suspects or the car that witnesses heard peeling out of this parking lot seconds after shots were fired.

Words from Loved ones- didnt want to offend anyone

the media breeds hatred, lets find a murder not down the dead, no one is amuned for something happind in there family, what ever charlie has done in the past didn't warrent his death, some of us fall get back up and maybe fall again, has any one said how charlie got clean and sober in between these years, how he sponsered people in AA, HE HELPED MY BROTHER JOHN MANY OF TIME , BRINGING HIM TO MEETINGS, TALKING TO HIM ON THE PHONE TO TRY TO HELP HIM BEAT HIS ADICTION, JUST RIDING AROUND WITH HIM, HELPING PEOPLE WITH MONEY WHEN HE KNEW THEY WERE DOWN AND OUT AND NEEDED A HAND UP NOT A HAND OUT. THAT's THE CHARLIE I KNOW. WE ALL HAVE DEMONS WE HAVE FOUGHT OR ARE STILL FIGHTING, ITS NOT US TO JUDGE ITS GOD AND IF YOU DOn't BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE SADLEY MISTAKEN. SO LETS NOT BREED HATE WHEN THERE FAMILY NEEDS A WHOLE LOT OF LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING.

believe me, if someone was to tell me that one day I'd be defending Charlie Rabine I'd say you were nuts. But upon reading some of the positive things he had done with his life to help others I must say that I'm surprised and impressed and it does show that anyone can change. So, before anyone says another negative thing about him, please think about his family 1st. Nobody is perfect- including your's truly. Just think about his family.

Charlie Raybine was a great man and friend who lost his life for no reason. He helped me and saved my life, I would be dead if he was not there. Leave his past out of it. He has helped so many people, can you say the same.

Sorry for your lose Candice.......my sympathies to all of his family

Regardless if he was good or bad, at the end of the day someone lost their child.

Luck a car wasn't passing by

BATH, Maine —Police in Bath are investigating the attempted abduction of a 12-year-old boy.
Police said the boy told them that at about 3 p.m. Wednesday a man in a minivan approached him near the 500 block of Middle Street.
The boy said the man reached out of the minivan, grabbed him and tried to pull him into the minivan.
Police said the boy fought back and was able to free himself from the man's grasp.
Police said the boy ran back to his home.
According to investigators, the boy described the man as about 40 years old, bald, 5 feet 9 inches tall with a long beard. He was wearing ripped jeans and a gray shirt.
Police said the minivan was grayish green and had a small antenna on the roof.
The make and model of the minivan are unknown, but the boy said it was a newer model minivan.
Ed Doyle, a neighbor who lives in the area, said he is concerned because his seven year old grandson gets off the bus in the same area.
Doyle said he and his grandson's father always wait for the child at the bus stop, but the whole neighborhood is keeping an eye out for the man.

SCHOOL SHOOTING -Newton school shooting with UPDATES

The 911 calls from the Newtown school shooting were
released today and at least one of the calls is punctuated by
gunfire in the background..
While one of the callers was clearly distraught, others -- including one woman who was shot in the foot -- were remarkably calm while talking to police dispatchers as the shooting continued.
The gunman, 20-year-old Adam Lanza, opened fire on Sandy Hook Elementary School almost a year ago, on Dec. 14, 2012. He killed 20 students and six staff members before turning the gun on himself. He had shot and killed his mother earlier that morning.
A Connecticut judge ruled last week that the 911 calls must be made public because there is a "clear public interest" in the recordings.
Victims' family members and the prosecutor had been opposed to making the calls public.
Below is a partial transcript of the calls:
  • One of the first calls received by 911 dispatchers was a woman who was panting and on the verge of tears.
"Sandy Hook School. I think there's somebody shooting in here, Sandy Hook School," she said.
The woman said she believed someone was shooting in the school "Because somebody saw a gun…I saw a glimpse of somebody. They're running down the hallway…They're still shooting. Sandy Hook School, please."
  • A female teacher told the dispatcher it sounded like there were gunshots in the hallway. She was in her classroom with all of her students.
"The door is not locked yet," she said. "I have to go lock the door."
"Keep everybody clam," the dispatcher instructed. "Keep everybody down. Get everybody away from the windows."
The teacher said her classroom was on the left after walking in the front entrance.
  • A man who identified himself as Rick and is believed to be school custodian Rick Thorne is heard on the calls several times.
"I believe there's shooting at the front glass," he said. "Something is going on."
The man said he was down the corridor and the dispatcher told him to take cover.
"The front glass is all shot out. It kept going on...it's still happening," he said. "Everything's locked up, as far as I know."
When asked if he could hear anything, the man said, "I keep hearing shooting. I keep hearing popping."
After a break, Rick continues speaking with the dispatcher.
"Something's happening," he said. "Now it's silent."
At one point, the custodian said, "All doors are locked, kids are in classrooms."
"There's still shooting going on. Please," he said.
  • A woman called police to say she was shot in the foot.
The woman calmly told the dispatcher she was in room number one facing the playground. "My classroom door is not locked," she added.
"There are two other adults in the room with me," she said. "They're over on the other side of the bookshelf." She also said there were children in the room.
When asked if she was okay, the woman said, "For now, hopefully."
